comparethemarket.com is a UK price comparison website, founded in 2006, that is part of the BGL Group. The website also offers other on-line companies the ability to provide their customers with a co-branded or white labelled comparison service.

EnergyCheck Site Integration
Challenge Integrate the new EnergyCheck functionality into the existing Compare the Market website. Educate users of the benefits of the service. Encourage and guide users to set up their personal EnergyCheck preferences.
Solution Building on the existing framework of the site, a landing page for EnergyCheck was designed. This introduces the AutoSergei character and outlines the functionality and benefits of the new service. The landing page positions the explainer video prominently, to build engagement with the users. On the homepage, a hero image introduces the AutoSergei character and and provides a link to set up EnergyCheck. Returning users are shown their potential savings as calculated by AutoSergei. For other pages across the site, several EnergyCheck modules were designed to sit within the hierarchy of modules for each specific page. These provide an introduction to the service and a link to set up EnergyCheck or find out more information.
